Esindus awarded the order to build two Wet – Dry Cooling Towers in United Kingdom

Esindus, mien, has been awarded by Duro Felguera to build two Wet – Dry Cooling Towers for serving a 800 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant located in Carrington, United Kingdom.

This Combined Cycle Power Plant belongs to ESBI, an Irish company which is cooperating with Duro Felguera, and is going to provide power to around one million homes. Duro Felguera is not only one of the most active EPC contractors of Spain, but also a very important international company specialized in energetic and industrial fields.

The facility located in Carrington (Greater Manchester, United Kingdom) is being developed under the aim of ensuring maximum energy efficiency and minimum impact to the environment. Esindus provides Wet – Dry cooling towers which performance is highly environmentally friendly, being the most suitable solution for Carrinton’s Power Plant.

Esindus’s scope of supply includes the engineering, the manufacturing and the erection supervision of the two Cooling Towers. The start-up is foreseen in 2014. Esindus is placed at the forefront of Wet – Dry Technologies, being awarded with this contract due to the experience, innovation and guaranteed performance that the company offers as a world leader in no –plume technologies.
